This hallway floor tiling in Mapperley Top, Nottingham was our last job in March before the very first national lockdown, Alex and his wife are a very lovely couple they had major issues from a previous tiler who tiled the job 6 months beforehand, the preparation work wasn't carried out correctly beforehand so the floor itself had failed due to poor preparation causing massive cracks spilt through the tiles and they started to pop.
Alex loved the tiles so much that they wanted the same ones going back down so all the tiles came up and we primed the floors first with a sbr primer then primer gripped the floors then we self leveled it all through and then used a ditra fracture matting with a s2 adhesive.
Unfortunately we could not lay the tiles until May due to the national lockdown, but we finished the job as soon as we able too.

We recently tiled a bathroom and kitchen for the landlord of this privately rented property in Hucknall, the bathroom walls were primed before tiling then tiled in a nice bump white tile brick bond effect and finished off with light grey grout.
We stripped back the old tiles in the kitchen and cleaned the walls then primed up before tiling, the tiles are white metros with light grey grout.
All the tiles and materials for this job for both kitchen and bathroom were from Simply Tiles.

This is a recent job we did for my old boss from my time in London, we tiled his bathroom walls and floors, this job was carried out in Grantham, we don't usually do the floors first but we did in this case due to the bath being fitted on the first weekend we were there.
The floor was all wood so we tile backer boarded it out before tiling. We primed the floors first Then used a s2 floor adhesives to lay the boards along with screwing them down as well, once the preparation staged was done we tiled the floor with some 60x60 Speckled quartz beautiful tiles, very brittle to cut though and we had to use wet tile cutter to cut them.
When the floor was done we moved on to the walls, tiling them with 600x300 white porcelain tile and then above the bath where the shower is we did a feature wall of pear drops tiles (from Topps Tiles) all finished off with kerakoll fugabella white grout.

Up next is a project for a lovely couple from Arnold, we installed simple white metros in the kitchen and finished up using a light grey grout.
Then we installed a beautiful Victorian floor in the hall way, these tiles are unbelievably beautiful and the blues in the pattern mixed in with the whites and blacks look amazing.
Happy New year to everyone, starting in Jan 20 next up is a nice little kitchen tiling project for Robinson pubs. This one is the Bulls Head in Ashford near Bakewell.
We did grey metros with light grey grout and white trims. Lovely little kitchen!
For our last project before the xmas break we have Nicola and Simon from Derby, we couldn't of asked for more amazing customers just before the xmas break.
We tiled the whole downstairs using a modular pattern, it looks complicated on the images but it wasn't to complicated for the Youngs team, I absolutely loved installing this floor. And the finish product looks amazing. We also installed kitchen wall tiling and again the finish looks great.
Our next project was for another lovely couple in Arnold, this time we installed wooden looking plank floors of 1.2 metres in length, the coverage was the whole of the downstairs area in the house, we did an unbelievable amount of prep on this job.
Again the images don't do this floor justice, it looks amazing finished and the customer was over the moon.
Take a look at our latest Wet Room tiling project for a lovely couple in Mapperley, the couple did all the prep work and did a great job. The customer chose a simple metro white tile on the walls and finished off with charcoal grout.
Also the customer wanted a herringbone style floor in marble, in a wet room, after a lot of research to make sure this pattern could be done in a wet room, we found it needed to be installed at 90 degree herringbone and not the normal 45 degree way.
To be honest the pictures don't do the finish justice, the floor and walls looked amazing when complete.
Tale a look at the recent work carried out by Youngs Tiling.
