Unfortunately on removing the old tiles it revealed quite a lot of mould and damp on the back of the boards, so we completely stripped the walls and replaced the old boards with new delta boards and tanked throughout ensuring this problem will not return. Youngs Tiling have recently had the pleasure of Tiling both Kitchen Floor and Walls for one of our customers in Gedling, Nottingham. All the walls were tiled in simple white metro Tiles with white trims and a light grey grout to make them stand out. For a Free Quotation on all our Tiling services contact us on: 07938 707 639 Wall Tiling We had to split the Floor Tiles in the entrance as there where cracks in the floor where the rooms meet, this showed movement in this area, so by splitting the Floor Tiles in the door way they act as an expansion joint we used silver trim so there are no sharp edges and our customer was over the moon with the result. Floor Tiling Floor Tiling Process  This week Youngs tiling we're called out to an emergency job for a lovely couple who rent the houses to students. Sue got in touch worried about the old tiles coming loose, so we checked them and they was loose, every single tile came off in my hand. This is what happens when the walls are not prepped right on new plastered walls. Also the wrong adhesive is was used. So we began the strip out Once all tiles we're removed from the walls, we cleaned the walls down free of any old grout and adhesive, then we used primer grip on all the areas to be tiled. The tiling was finished off with a nice simple white tile brick bond effect, finished off in light grey grout. All tiles and materials supplied from tile town.
